Background Description
This species of lichen clings to waterside rocks, its existence as ancient as the underground cavern itself, even predating the arrival of the Exostrider. Long before the underground was called Lahai-Roi, this type of lichen had already taken root. Over countless years, it slowly eroded the hard rock, breaking it down into soil capable of nurturing new life.
In Royan mythology, Cradle Lichen symbolizes return and transformation. When burying precious objects, the Roya will weave the lichen into mats, wrapping the treasures before laying them in the earth.
