On this day, the Pioneer Association's expedition team set foot upon the frozen land for the first time and made their initial contact with the Roya, who guided the Exoswarm across the ice and led them back to the Exostrider.
The researchers gazed at the Roya acting like shepherds, their faces unmistakably lit with excitement. In their eyes, Lahai-Roi was destined to become one of the greatest discoveries of the modern age. The Roya, cut off from the outside world for countless generations, in turn studied these strangely dressed visitors with equal curiosity, awakening to the existence of a world beyond Lahai-Roi.

During the return voyage, the expedition leader immediately began drafting a report on Lahai-Roi, with every line brimming with excitement and wonder. She was convinced she stood on the threshold of history, soon to be remembered as a legendary explorer.
"In the distant polar reaches lies a strange civilization, isolated from the world. They are an ancient people who dwell beneath the polar ice cap, within a vast hidden realm. Their attire bears no resemblance to that of modern society... They practice herding, but their herds are not of flesh and blood. Instead, they guide mechanical cattle and sheep, and even colossal, elephant-like machines..."
Yet when this account reached the headquarters of the Pioneer Association, events took a turn none of the expedition members had anticipated. There was no public announcement, no celebration of discovery. Instead, upon their arrival, the team was placed under strict supervision.
The Association's leadership believed that such a "sensational revelation" might provoke unrest on a scale impossible to predict.
In the end, all information related to Lahai-Roi was sealed. The expedition and everything it had uncovered were treated as though they had never existed.

However, it soon became clear that discoveries of such magnitude could not be kept secret for long.
Certain organizations managed to break through the information blockade and acquired intelligence from internal sources. They began dispatching their own survey teams to Lahai-Roi in secret, hoping to seize credit for the discovery of this so-called "new land" before others. Some of those who claimed to represent the "civilized world" regarded the Roya as a backward people and had no intention of treating them by the standards they professed. They offered the Roya supplies commonplace in the outside world, even including technologies long rendered obsolete, seeking to earn trust and gratitude through cheap concessions.
Most of the Roya, however, were not swayed. They deliberately withheld critical information concerning the Exostrider and, when necessary, cooperated in performing the role of a "primitive tribe," all the while quietly discerning the true intentions of the various factions involved.

At the international summit convened to discuss the construction of the Polar Collective, the appearance of a Solsworn fundamentally overturned the world's perception of the Roya (Editor's note: a detailed account of this event can be found in Royan Formulae Transcripts - Preface I).
In the end, the Roya not only safeguarded themselves, but also made the outside world understand that any attempt to explore Lahai-Roi or to study the Exostrider and the Exoswarm would be impossible without their cooperation.
